APC Enduro Championship outline revised regulations and 2026 calendar
Following a successful debut on the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance’s Hi-Tec Oils Super Series roster this season, the APC Enduro Championship has announced its re-commitment to the national program among a raft of exciting changes for 2026.
The APC Enduro Championship made a successful debut on the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series in 2025, racing at the Sydney Motorsport Park, Queensland Raceway twice and Winton rounds, with each schedule featuring two sprint races leading and an endurance event.
In a renewed agreement for 2026, the APC Enduro Championship will feature at five events of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series.
Each APC Enduro Championship round will consist of practice, qualifying and a three-hour race featuring its own identity across a two-day format.
Beginning with the twilight Ipswich 3 Hour on May 1-2 at Queensland Raceway, the season heads down to Sydney Motorsport Park for the Sydney 3 Hour under lights on July 17-18. Returning to Queensland Raceway for the annual Fight in the Night on August 14-15, before heading to rural Victoria for the Winton 3 Hour at twilight on September 25-26.
The final round venue is to be confirmed, but will be held on November 6-7.
Next-generation technical and sporting regulations will be introduced for the 2026 season, with the goal to ensure the ongoing sustainability and competitiveness for the future of the APC Enduro Championship.
This has led to the re-writing of the technical rules from the ground up focusing on simplicity, clarity and enforceability resulting in a new four-class, self-nominated timing bracket-based structure for 2026 to ensure fair competition across a wide range of models.
Further rule changes encourage an inclusive and increased eligibility through less-restrictive regulations. Current production cars will remain eligible alongside TCR, GT4 and other various factory built production based race cars, with all classes using semi-slick tyres to maintain low costs.
Entries will also be able to run three drivers adding further flexibility.
Current competitor Paul Buccini will come onboard as APC Enduro Championship Category Manager, with the aim of building strong competitor engagement, seamless event rollout and professional category operations.
All qualifying sessions and races of the APC Enduro Championship will be live-streamed as part of the comprehensive Hi-Tec Oils Super Series coverage broadcast on both pay and free-to-air channels.
More details will be revealed regarding the re-written technical and sporting regulations in due course.
