In just seven days’ time the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series roars back into life at Sydney Motorsport Park, and the schedule has just dropped.

Round 3 of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series, titled the Sydney Sunset is a two-day race meeting, taking place on Friday July 17 and Saturday July 18.

Both days are jam-packed, Friday’s action commences at 8.30am and runs through until 10.30pm, while similarly Saturday starts at 8.45am and continues until 10.30pm.

All the regular Hi-Tec Oils Super Series categories will be at Sydney Motorsport Park, plus a couple of additions.

The event will be headlined by the popular V8-powered TA2 Muscle Car Series, the third round of its series in 2026.

The Yokohama AASA Australian Formula Ford Championship, TFH Hire Legend Cars Australia, Game Over Australian Endurance Championship, Australian IRC Series and Formula RX8s will all be on-track.

Semi-regular category, the Hankook Australian Drivers’ Championship will be contesting its fourth round. While the banging and crackling Sports Compact Series makes its much-anticipated debut at a Super Series event.

Most of the categories have four races across the course of the weekend, TA2 and Formula Ford will run their traditional format of a qualifying session and two races on each day.

Formula RX8, the Australian Drivers’ Championship and Sports Compact will have a single qualifying session and two races on Friday, followed by the final two races on Saturday.

The TFH Hire Legend Cars Australia machines have sacrificed a practice session for an additional race; they will have five across the course of the two-day event.

The Australian IRC Series will have qualifying and a Sprint race on Friday. Saturday will be a huge day for the Australian built-GT category with two 50-minute enduros, and the final 10-lap Sprint on Saturday.

The recently revamped Game Over Australian Endurance Championship has two 25-minute practice sessions on Friday, Saturday will feature a 15-minute practice and 30-minute qualifying, before the Sydney 3 Hour around lunch.

The TV times for the Sydney Sunset will be released shortly, as always it will broadcast on free-to-air and pay TV.
