Mayor Nina Dillon attended the final round of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series today, as the Mayor of the Goulburn Mulwaree region, she was delighted to see the track back being used and fans walking through the gates.

The track, formerly known as Wakefield Park, closed just over two years ago, however earlier this month was re-opened by Steve Shelley.

It was a busy opening day at One Raceway, with drivers very much finding the limits and more at the re-opened and revived venue formerly known as Wakefield Park in New South Wales.

This is the first national car race meeting at the venue since it opened earlier in the month, and the reconfigured layout certainly caught a few drivers out.

In 2024 the Hyper Racer X1 series was renamed as the Australian Drivers’ Championship, a prestigious title which has moved under the Australian Auto Sport Alliance (AASA) banner.

The open-wheel Hyper Racer X1 series first ran in 2022 and has grown almost round upon round with ever increasing grid sizes.
