Not only is the calendar complete, but almost all the event category allocations have been locked in. A large majority of the categories return, but several new ones have joined the series.
The 2026 Hi-Tec Oils Super Series - Season 4 opening round was announced several weeks ago. South Australian venue, Shell V-Power Motorsport Park will kick off the campaign from March 13-15.
Rounds 2 and 3 swap positions from this year, the first Queensland Raceway event 2 Days of Thunder will now be Round 2, featuring the incredibly popular tag-team enduro format for the TA2 Muscle Car Series, held from May 1-3, before Sydney Motorsport Park on July 17-18.
It’s back to QR for the iconic Fight in the Night event in mid-August, with the home of the AASA Winton Motor Raceway hosting the penultimate round from September 25-27.
The Hi-Tec Oils Super Series will conclude with a brand-new round at Calder Park Raceway just on the outskirts of Melbourne.
Notably the event will be run on the original layout from November 6-8.
The headline act, the TA2 Muscle Car Series will run under lights on Saturday night with a thrilling and unique format, we will announce this in due course.
The series capped at eight categories per round to ensure maximum track time for competitors will be supported by packed grids at all six events. Including the previously announced TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Cars Series, Innovation Race Cars, Australian Production Cars Enduro Championship and the AASA Australian Formula Ford championship.
In addition, regular Super Series categories Australian Drivers Championship and Stock Cars Australia will also be back.
The Australian Auto-Sport Alliance is excited to welcome the return of the popular one-make Mazda RX8 series Formula RX8. A category that will feature on both the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series and AASA Nationals Series.
New to the Super Series in 2026 is Sports Compact. Formerly known as 2-Litre Sports Sedans, the category has blossomed since a rebranding and alteration of the rules in the last 12 months with well over 20 cars at most rounds.
In 2026 the Super Series will be running, new compact and budget friendly formats, this will consist of more laps and longer races with no time-certain finishes as previously announced by AASA Competition and Commercial Director Marcos Ambrose.
The TV coverage will remain the same as 2025, all rounds will be broadcast live on Fox Sports, Kayo and SBS, as well as live streamed on the Super Series YouTube channel.

“Season 4 is about bringing all the pieces together,” Oldano said. “We’re delivering an affordable, entertaining, and family-friendly motorsport event, and I’m excited about the direction we’re heading.
“Our 2026 calendar shows how far the Series has come. We start at The Bend in Adelaide, race under lights at Sydney Motorsport Park, and return to fan-favorite endurance rounds at Queensland Raceway, and Winton. It’s a mix that promises variety, challenges, different race formats, and excitement for everyone.
“Ending the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series at Calder gives us the perfect stage to try something bold.
“We’re introducing a unique format for the finale, something our competitors haven’t faced all season….and TA2 Muscle Cars will be the stars of the show. If people think they know how the final round will play out, they’re in for a surprise.
“The Hi-Tec Oils Super Series has grown tremendously in three years, attracting bigger fields, stronger partnerships, and more engaged fans.
“Having our racing broadcast across SBS, Kayo and Fox Sports is a huge thing for grassroots categories. Seeing our competitors showcased nationally, and knowing families across the country can tune in live or on demand, is incredibly rewarding.
