Hi-Tec Oils Super Series Round 3 entries are open

Entries have opened for the third round of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series – Season 4, a two-day event at Sydney Motorsport Park on July 17-18.

The meeting, titled the Sydney Sunset Showdown, will see racing go well into the night on both Friday and Saturday.

It is a huge event for the series with an incredibly strong list of eight categories on show over the course of the two-day race meeting. Including the regular Hi-Tec Oils Super Series categories, and some new ones also.

As always, the Super Series will be led by the ever popular and continually growing TA2 Muscle Car Series. The category goes back into sprint racing mode after the successful Tag Team Enduro last time out.

The future open-wheel stars will be back at Sydney Motorsport Park in what is quickly turning into a classic season of the Yokohama AASA Australian Formula Ford Championship.

The Eastern Sydney venue will host the Sydney 3 Hour, Round 2 of the Game Over Australian Endurance Championship.

It will be Round 3 of 6 for the Aussie built, GT style, Innovation Race Cars, it is the final round of their endurance series.

The pocket rockets, the TFH Hire Legend Cars Australia and one-make Formula RX8 Series will also be on track.

Additionally, the ultra-fast Hyper Racer X1 open-wheelers are back after racing alongside the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series for the first time since Round 1. This will be Round 4 of the Hankook Australian Drivers’ Championship.

Finally, a new category joins the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series, Victorian series Sports Compact is spreading its wings and stepping up to the national scene for the very first time.

The category formerly known as 2 Litre Sports Sedans has undergone a very successful revamp in the last couple of years, with grids consistently over 20 cars at every round. The small but loud machines are bound to be a hit with fans.
