New Innovation Race Cars model revealed

Innovation Race Cars is excited to announce a new addition to its model range.

The Model A will add a new dimension to Innovation Race Cars (IRC), which is one of the leading categories on the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA) run national championship, the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series.

Combining a sleek appearance with the proven mechanicals of previous IRC models, the Model A is inspired by the best of European design showcasing a sleek and modern appearance.

The new body shape will break cover in less than two months’ time, possibly in time for the IRC season finale at Winton Motor Raceway in November.

Innovation Race Cars owner and competitor Danny Stutterd explained the reason for the new model.

“Due to the increased popularity of the IRC car, IRC and Pace Innovations have released a new model, the IRC A Model,” he said.

“With the growing success of IRC, the demand for the cars, the popularity not only in Australia, but overseas, we thought it was a good time to release another model.

“There won’t be any performance advantage with this new model, all the IRC cars are exactly the same underneath, this is just a new body.

“The new body shape will be ready in around six weeks’ time, the first car of which has already been ordered.

“We are fielding a lot of inquiries about the IRC cars, particularly the USA market in regard to the Model A.

“At IRC HQ we are now up to car build 17 and we thought it was a relevant time to come out with something new again, we're proud to release a new model to the market due to the fact that there's been high demand.”

IRC’s inaugural event took place at Winton Motor Raceway, the opening round of the 2025 Hi-Tec Oils Super Series and since then the category has gone from strength to strength with grids growing each round.

“We are very happy with the growth of our category,” Stutterd stated. “The feedback from our clients is that we are on the right track to make this something big.

“We hope the final two rounds of 2025 and next year brings the same great racing with even more competitors. We’ve received a lot of interest for these upcoming events.

“We really loved working with AASA in the Hi Tec Oils Super Series, they have been very flexible and accommodating to our up-and-coming category.”

Hi-Tec Oils Super Series Manager Carolyn Oldano is delighted with the announcement, indicating that this signifies IRC’s continued rise.

“Danny and the whole IRC team just continue to impress,” Oldano said. “Innovation Race Cars just keep delivering — every new model brings more excitement to the category. These cars are seriously fast, and the addition of this latest design will get heads turning.

“The new car has such a sharp, modern look to it, in short its sexy! It’s exactly the kind of car that will capture the attention in the paddock.

“We’re incredibly proud to have IRC as part of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series. Each round, the category brings something fresh and exciting, and it’s been fantastic to watch the field grow in both strength and following.

“The future looks very bright for IRC within the Super Series. With new cars being introduced the category is only going to get stronger. It’s an exciting time for everyone involved, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.”

The final round of the IRC’s sprint segment and penultimate event of its season will feature as part of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series Mallala Masters meeting on September 26-28.

Joining IRC at Mallala will be the TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Car Series, Formula Ford Stars Series, TFH Hire Legend Cars Australia and Australian Formula Vee.
