Tickets on sale for Sydney Sundown

Tickets are on sale for Sydney Sundown, Round 2 of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series, which will be held at Sydney Motorsport Park from May 30-31.

It is going to be a huge two days of action with nine categories descending on the New South Wales circuit including the TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Car Series Presented by Maritimo, Australian Production Cars, the Formula Ford Stars Renegades Series and so much more.

Both days, Friday and Saturday feature racing long into the night, with over 12 hours of on-track action each day.

This event offers value for money that can’t be matched by any other motorsport event, just $20 for a Friday pass and $30 for Saturday.

A two-day ticket (over 24 hours of racing) costs just $40, kids under the age of 16 can enter for free.

Entry tickets also include access to the pit straight grandstand and paddock, in the pit paddock you can roam around, meet the drivers and see the cars up close.

Venue parking is free, however there is also the option of the park and view where you can watch the action from the comfort of your own motor vehicle.

The categories are as follows, the thundering TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Car Series Presented by Maritimo, headlines the list of categories for Sydney Sundown.

Australian Production Cars enter a new era, Sydney will see the maiden round of the Hi-Tec Oils APC Enduro Championship. Cars will include BMW M products, hot hatches, Aussie-built sedans and more. The format will see the machines run two 30-minute sprint races and a two-hour enduro.

After a really exciting debut round at Winton, the ultra-competitive Formula Ford Stars and Renegades Series will return with more cars, the fast-flowing nature of the circuit will also produce some barnstorming action.

As always, the pocket-rocket TFH Hire Legend Cars Australia Series will go four or sometimes even five cars wide around the wide SMP circuit.

The Aussie Built Innovation Race Cars are well suited to the fast and flowing Sydney Motorsport Park layout, these V8 powered machines rival GT3 cars for pace, you will want to be trackside when the IRC cars role out onto the track.

There will be plenty of variety in the Australian Super Tin Tops series, it is a category in which you have to expect the unexpected.

The Australian Drivers’ Championship will also be competing at SMP, it will be the debut of the Aussie built Hyper Racer X1 open wheelers at the venue, expect plenty of slipstreaming action across the course of the weekend.

National Australian Formula Vee action will also be on show with a huge entry list of cars expected, while Queensland category Replica Tourers will make its interstate debut.

The Sydney Sundown will also be broadcast on both days, with the livestream running from 12.30pm-8.30pm AEST on Friday and Saturday on the Official Super Series YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/@superseries.official.

The event will also be shown on SBS Viceland, Fox Sports and Kayo from 4.30pm-8.30pm on Friday and Saturday.
