Brodie Kostecki and Paul Morris team up for TA2 enduro
Previous Bathurst 1000 winners Brodie Kostecki and Paul Morris add to the impressive list of stars contesting the TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Car Racing Series as part of the Fight in the Night at Queensland Raceway.
Round 4 of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series returns to the Sunshine State for an endurance themed event in Ipswich where Kostecki and Morris will targeting glory.
Joining already confirmed stars Craig Lowndes, Todd Hazelwood, Tim Slade, Aaron Seton, George Miedecke, Nathan Herne, Ben Bargwanna, Clay Richards and Elliot Barbour, the duo will contest the event in a Ford Mustang run under the Norwell Motorplex banner.
The addition of Kostecki and Morris to the field ensures this will be the most competitive field in TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Car Series presented by Maritimo history, with the team only confirming its intentions in recent weeks.
For Kostecki, he enjoyed a successful cameo in Trans Am some seasons ago and is eager to join the stacked field.
"Paul floated the idea to me last week while we were in the workshop, it came together pretty quickly from there,” Kostecki revealed.
“I’m really excited to get back behind the wheel and have some fun. It’s great to see Paul racing in a competitive car again, he’s been doing a solid job in the V8 SuperUte Series but teaming up with him in something like this is pretty special.
"Paul’s been a huge mentor throughout my career, so to finally share a car with him in a proper race is something I’ve always looked forward to. I can’t wait to see how we stack up.”
Despite the lateness of the program coming together, Morris is excited to compete alongside Kostecki.
"I floated the idea to Brodie last week, the car was sitting in the workshop, and I figured we should go racing,” Morris said.
“I’ve done a few laps in Nash’s TA2 car about 18 months ago and Brodie’s last run in a TA2 Camaro saw him on the podium at Queensland Raceway.
“We haven’t had a chance to test on the new tyres, so there are a few unknowns, but we’re going there to have a proper crack and chase a strong result."
The Fight in the Night at Queensland Raceway marks Round 4 of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series, with the now traditional TFH Hire TA2 Muscle Car Series presented by Maritimo two-driver event comprising of two sprint races for each driver across Saturday and Sunday, paired with twin-45-minute endurance races.
The team that has accumulated the most points across the six races will be declared the winner of the 2025 Queensland Raceway TA2 Tag Team Enduro.
